Maurice Lacroix Introduces Elegant Update to its 1975 Legacy Collection

Published: 26 Jun 2026
Swiss luxury watchmaker Maurice Lacroix recently unveiled a stunning addition to its 1975 collection, inviting aficionados to embrace heritage embodied in time.

Marking its 50th anniversary, Maurice Lacroix introduced the 1975 collection last year. This burgeoning series now proudly welcomes a refined new member - the 1975 Legacy. This beautiful timepiece flaunts a machine-guilloché petite seconde display nestled at the 6 o’clock point, fashioning an exquisite, pleated look on the dial. The watch beautifully marries retro elegance, hearkening back to the Les Classiques series of 1988, with the brand’s contemporary style.

Two variations of the 1975 Legacy, limited to 500 pieces each for both silver and slate grey, feature the brand’s signature ‘Vagues du Jura’ motif. This wave-like pattern, influenced by the stunning Jura landscape, is traditionally used in the brand’s premium range, adding depth without overwhelming the dial. Along with the stunning guilloché detailing, the Legacy also presents a date window at 3 o’clock, keeping it practical for daily usage.

Working brilliantly under the hood is the automatic ML158 movement, sourced from Sellita, which powers the hours, minutes, small seconds, and date with a steady pulse of 28,800 vibrations per hour. It boasts a reliable 60-hour power reserve and is visible through the transparent case back. Rounding off the design, the watch comes with a black alligator-style leather strap with a swift, tool-free exchange system.

This timeless, chic embodiment of Maurice Lacroix’s brand heritage, available in limited pieces, can be owned at an achievable price of CHF 1,950.
