Discover The Enchanting New Face of Elegance: Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon in Opulent “Bleu Nuit, Nuage” Ceramic
The latest in a series of innovative steps taken by Audemars Piguet, experts in the art of horology, is the launch of a remarkable variant of the Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon - entirely in luxurious ‘Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50’ ceramic. This iconic deep blue shade, first devised by Stern Frères for the earlier Royal Oak Jumbo models, lends a mesmerising charm to this 41mm timepiece.
The use of ceramics has been a trait of Audemars Piguet dating back to 2025, showcasing the material’s alluring quality on selective models of the Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore series. However, it’s the first time this captivating hue has been employed across the entirety of the Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon’s architecture, including the case, bezel, crown, and integrated bracelet.
On the dial, the monochromatic theme is preserved with the “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” Grande Tapisserie pattern, contrasted elegantly with white gold hour markers and Royal Oak hands filled with a luminescent material. A structurally-independent flying tourbillon at the 6 o’clock position adds a layer of visual interest while keeping the display uncluttered. The watch features the bespoke calibre 2950, an automatic flying tourbillon movement that originally made its debut in the Code 11.59 collection before gracing the Royal Oak. The mechanics provide it with a power reserve of 65 hours, and features traditional finishing touches visible through the sapphire caseback. A new era of horological innovation and opulence is ushered in with this Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon in “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” Ceramic.
