The Newly Introduced Reservoir Mark II Series: A Fusion of Auto Gauges and Aeronautical Counters

Published: 22 Apr 2026
The Reservoir Mark II series, the latest offering from an innovative watchmaking brand, redefines the aesthetics with an integrated design.

Striking a fine balance between traditional horology and modern design, Reservoir, a brand renowned for drawing inspiration from automotive gauges, aeronautical counters, and industrial manometers, is making waves with its recently launched Mark II series. Since its debut in 2017, Reservoir has impressed with a visually compelling interpretation of time display featuring jumping hours and retrograde minutes, often combined with a power reserve indicator. The latest Mark II series elevates this aesthetic, showcasing not only Reservoir’s unique way of displaying time but also its holistic design ethos.

The brand’s dedication to design continuity extends to even secondary elements like the crown, folding clasp, and case back, all bearing the brand’s logo in a refurbished design. Yet, as the exterior makes a significant leap, the dial remains true to Reservoir’s original philosophy. The Mark II version is rolled out across three of the brand’s signature models - GT Tour, Kanister, and Airfight Jet, reflecting different types of measuring instruments. Despite their unique themes, every model boasts the brand’s signature mechanical display.

Powered by the proprietary RSV-240 calibre, a 113-component complication module crafted by movement creator Telos coupled with a modified La Joux-Perret G100 automatic base, the watches operate at 28,800 vibrations/hour and provide a 56-hour power reserve.

The new Reservoir Mark II series, expected to be in the market by June 2026, offers an elegant blend of modern aesthetics and the charm of vintage instrumentation. Affordably priced at EUR 7,200, the Mark II series powerfully resonates with Reservoir’s ethos of creating watches that are a unique confluence of technology, design, and flair.
