RZE’s Titanium UTD-8000 Series Expands to Include Daring Cerakote-Finished Digital Watches

Published: 04 Sep 2026
RZE brings a breath of fresh vitality to their ultra-durable UTD-8000 titanium digital watch series, introducing Cerakote-coated pieces.

Unveiled in 2025, RZE’s UTD-8000 marked a new standard in the blueprint of digital watch durability, its solid-titanium craftsmanship devised to endure the harshest of physical challenges. Now, the brand has taken their celebrated series a notch higher with a pair of UTD-8000 timepieces that incorporate Cerakote-finished cases. These new editions, despite their distinct approaches to visibility, boast the same indomitable spirit that defines the series. The first, the UTD-8000-CKT, goes for a chameleon aura — a tan and black exterior designed to seamlessly blend with its surroundings. Its sibling, the UTD-8000-CKO, on the other hand, seeks to make a bold, unmissable statement with its vivid orange exterior, asserting maximum visibility. Each piece in the UTD-8000 series, backed by a lifetime warranty, elevates the inherent durability of digital watches. They are resistant to extreme temperatures, shock-absorbent, and water-resistant up to 200 meters. Further strengthening this toughness is their solid grade 2 titanium and a flat sapphire crystal to protect their display. However, one cannot overlook the aesthetic transformation brought about by the Cerakote coating. Though it imparts a visibly different aging process, it certainly adds a unique character to the timepieces. Staying loyal to their central blueprint, these models have custom digital modules and a multi-component case structure. Innovatively spiced up with vibrant cerakote layers and straps, the resiliency of these watches is unparalleled. The High-Vis Orange and Field Tan Cerakote units accentuate the UTD-8000 design with their combination of DLC and Cerakote-finished components. The bezels and middle cases glitter in either bright orange or tan Cerakote, with a thin ring of anodized aluminum adding the signature shades of Medallion Yellow. As an endearing quirks, Cerakote exhibits wear in a far more visible way than RZE’s standard UltraHex coating. Far from being a disadvantage, this adds to the patina, bestowing on these watches an evolving personality that bears the marks of time and use.
