Meet the New Kid on The Roster: Oris ProPilot Bronze Heralds a Warm, Exclusive Twist to the ProPilot Collection

Published: 02 Sep 2026
Revitalising the ProPilot collection, horological innovators Oris present to you the ProPilot Bronze, a timepiece that blends traditional charm with modern sophistication.

Last year saw Oris undertaking a bold move to renew their cherished ProPilot Date watch. This entailed a modernised yet familiar approach to aviation-inspired design, while ensuring the introduction of a streamlined case and refined proportions. This time, Oris unveiled the first inspired variation from their refreshed collection—the ProPilot Bronze. This intriguing watch is a heated, character-loaded representation where the material plays a leading role in the overall aesthetics.

Retaining the measurements of the existing steel model, the 41mm case of the ProPilot Bronze stands at an 11.7mm thickness and spreads across a 49mm lug-to lug distance. Now fully fashioned in bronze, except for the securely fitted steel case back enclosed with mineral glass, the watch offers a dramatically different allure. Allowing nature to leave its imprint, the bronze exterior is designed to develop a distinct patina, thus enabling each timepiece to slowly but surely acquire a unique personality.

Under the hood lurks the automatic Oris Calibre 733, based on a Sellita SW200. This reliable mechanism, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, offers a 41-hour power reserve and is accented with the quintessential Oris-red rotor, visible via the display caseback. The ProPilot Bronze comes enclosed in a dark green suede strap and features a unique ‘LIFT’ clasp, inspired by aircraft seatbelt mechanisms, ensuring a comfortable, custom fit. The Oris ProPilot Bronze will be available from September 2026, with an expected price tag of CHF 2,250.
