Embracing Asymmetry: The Resonant Design of Dennison + Collectability’s Second Edition Timepiece

Published: 02 Jun 2026
Celebrating exquisite design and affordability, Dennison + Collectability launch their second edition timepiece, crafted to captivate with its daring asymmetry.

Last fall, the seed of an extraordinary idea was sown between the Collectability founder, John Reardon, and Swiss designer, Emmanuel Gueit. The duo charmed the world with their initial debut in 2025, and they’re back to surprise yet again with the Dennison + Collectability 2026 Edition Oblique Collection. This collection propels the vision of its predecessor by augmenting case architecture and introducing an intriguingly asymmetric aperture.

The case, handcrafted by Gueit, famous for his contributions to Swiss watchmaking, swanks an unusual cut at an oblique angle, revealing an inside geometrically shaped dial. This daring move beyond the conventional circular or square cases, drifts more towards a sculptural appeal and echoes the avant-garde designs of the ’60s.

The collection introduces two dial configurations in dual color schemes. The Oblique Enigma adds drama with a mesmerizing two-tone dial with an inner blue sunburst, an encircling green sunburst and a metallic border. Taking a more restrained approach and offering a crisp graphic look is the Oblique Vector. It features a center-oriented starburst pattern, available in warm gilt sunray with black lines or a silver sunray with blue lines in a steel case.

Functionality meets value with a swiss Ronda Cal. 1062 quartz movement at its heart, encased in gold PVD or stainless steel measuring 35x33.6mm, with a thin 6.05mm profile. An ideal match to its case are the blue or brown embossed leather straps. The slim profile and unique approach to the asymmetrical case give it the allure of a piece of jewelry rather than a bold statement piece, widening its fan base.

These artistic timepieces are attractively priced at $790 (except for taxes and tariffs), making them an easy grab for watch enthusiasts and collectors. The limited production run only lasted a week between May 27 and June 3, adding a touch of exclusivity to the watch.
