Glaswegian Brand, AnOrdain Rolls Out its Second Porcelain Dial Series With Model 1 - An Iconic Wrist Delight

AnOrdain, the revered Glaswegian timepiece brand, announces a second entrant to its porcelain dial series, the Model 1 Porcelain, following last year’s Model 2 Porcelain roll-out. This iconic model splendidly supplements the brand’s passion for artisanal grand feu enamel dials. While the handcrafting process ensues in-house leveraging conventional porcelain-making methods, the firing of clay and vitreous glaze escalates to a considerably extensive level. Extrapolating production capabilities, AnOrdain can create 50 vitreous enamel dials monthly across seven enamellers. In contrast, a single ceramic specialist can churn out 30-40 porcelain dials per month. Although porcelain dials might seem more tolerant, the final dials constitute an approximate total of 300 manufactured pieces, underlining a rather high rejection rate in dial-making.
