Stepping into a new era in watchmaking, Formex has released an evolved model of its flagship Essence 39mm Automatic COSC watch. Originally launched in 2018, the 39mm stainless steel Essence has been the undeniable backbone of the Swiss brand’s modern catalog since CEO Raphael Granito unveiled it following the brand’s reboot in 2016.

Moving fuelling the wave of automatic watch evolution, Formex’s refreshed Essence 39mm - the brand’s best-selling model - showcases enhanced features while respecting the watch’s initial design blueprint. Adorned with three distinct dial shades, the watch possesses an improved bracelet clasp extension system and carries a screw-down crown. Now running on a next-gen chronometer-verified movement, the upgraded watch boost of a tantalizing 65-hour power reserve.

Promising a scale of personalization, Formex offers the Essence 39mm Automatic COSC in its signature shade of blue, along with Radiant Bronze and Alpine White. Apart from the three-link stainless steel bracelet, the watch can come with various straps in rubber, nylon, and leather, fitted with the brand’s carbon-composite deployant clasp.

Not just upgrading the external design, Formex has also revamped the watch’s heart with the Sellita SW200-2 Power+ automatic movement.
