Breitling Transforms its Chronomat Collection, Awake Presents Trio of Lacquer-Gilded Timepieces

Embarking on a fascinating journey of horological innovation, Breitling repositions its legendary Chronomat lineup. The renowned watchmaker has reconstructed its iconic collection to harmonize it with contemporary style preferences, offering an impressive array of 22 variants fit for varied individual tastes. The revised collection ranges from sophisticated chronographs to minimalist time-and-date models flaunted in a spectrum of dial colors and metals.

Parallelly, an enriched horological experience is offered by the burgeoning Awake brand with the launch of three fresh models christened - ‘Sunset,’ ‘Alba,’ and ‘Borealis.’ These timepieces seek inspiration from alluring celestial events, representing visual poetry on the wrist. The dial host’s vivid color palettes are obtained through a meticulous hand lacquering technique using Sơn Mài lacquer, native to Hanoi, Vietnam. The piece de resistance is the magnificently handcrafted guilloché work by the Renzetti family, one of the last standing guardians of this high craft in Europe.
