Discover the Allure of Sharks: Hands-On With The IFL Watches x Citizen Tsuyosa Shore Mako Limited Edition

Published: 06 Jul 2026
In a stunning new collaboration, IFL Watches and Citizen launch a diver's-style watch with an impressive shark-themed dial, limited to only 200 pieces.

Sharks can be artwork too, as proven by the latest collaboration between IFL Watches and Citizen. The mesmerising dial of the Limited-Edition Tsuyosa Shore Mako watch is the star of the show, using a groundbreaking artistic technique. Hand-painted and highly detailed, it imbues an enamel painting and post-polishing process, offering the wearer a truly unique timepiece. The results are nothing short of breathtaking, captured with vibrant colors and crisp composition. Not only that, but the presentation offers considerable value for the cost. In terms of technical specs, the Tsuyosa Shore Mako kudos to the standard Citizen Tsuyosa Automatic model base previously introduced in 2024. Both the Tsuyosa and Tsuyosa Shore have a polished and brushed steel case, bracelet, and run on Citizen’s in-house caliber 8210 automatic movement. While the standard Tsuyosa leans towards daily-wear casual, the Tsuyosa Shore covers sportier territory with its diver’s-style look. It boasts a unidirectional rotating 60-minute timing bezel with a colored anodized aluminum insert and extends its water resistance from 50 to 100 meters. A screw-down crown joins at the 4 o’clock position to solidify its diving relevance. Housed under a flat sapphire crystal, the Tsuyosa houses Citizen’s in-house caliber 8210 automatic movement. The movement provides time and date functions, complemented by a magnifier over the date window for easier reading. Available in a limited run of 200 pieces, the Tsuyosa Shore Mako watch unarguably offers a lot of value and fashionable versatility to any watch collection. It’s a tangible mark of an inspiring collaboration and an exciting showcase of IFL Watches’ innovative enamel painting technique.
