Renowned watch manufacturer, Minerva, founded in the mid-1800s, has ushered a new era in 2026. The brand traditionally associated with Montblanc, emerges as an independent name, revealing several innovative creations. With masterpieces like the Crownless Unveiled and new interpretations of Unveiled Secret and Chronograph, the brand has reaffirmed its dedication to unique movement designs and traditional hand-finishing techniques.

Among the recent revelations, Minerva astonishes with the Exo Tourbillon, a distinctive modern execution that features a mechanism with a balance wheel placed above the rotating tourbillon cage. First showcased in 2010 after three years of meticulous development, it’s now revived in a remarkable 18-piece limited edition, captivating with a yellow-gold case, black onyx, and olive-green adornments.

The dial exhibits an elegant combination of layers and materials with the olive-green guilloché plate blending seamlessly with the yellow-gold elements. The upper section reveals a polished domed black onyx time display with gold-coated Roman numerals and hands. The lower section is dominated by the tourbillon, drawing admiration for its intricate construction. The tourbillon completes a full revolution every 60 seconds, serving as a small-seconds indicator. Minerva’s choice of colours is significant, the olive branch symbolises peace and prosperity, the yellow gold alludes to affluence, and the black onyx embodies strength and resilience.
