Breguet, a brand historically renowned for classic designs, has given a contemporary facelift to its Marine 5517 and Marine Chronograph 5527 models. Presenting itself as more than just a manufacturer of traditional timepieces, Breguet also offers sports-inspired collections. One such line is The Marine, a tribute to the time when founder Abraham-Louis Breguet was designated as the ‘Watchmaker to the French Royal Navy’. The original Marine selection featured solid gold dials boasting a guilloché pattern redolent of waves, along with luminous Roman numerals, while the latest iterations of the Marine 5517 and Marine Chronograph 5527 come with more refined dials.
