An intimate glimpse of Geneva Watch Days 2026: A domain of discovery with more than 400 new releases

The Geneva Watch Days of 2026 was enveloped in excitement as the community of horologists, watch enthusiasts, and industry insiders reunited eagerly after a sweltering summer. A preferential time where the rapidly moving industry reset its pace and the community had the chance to appreciate the novel timepieces from an array of brands. Notable names such as Bvlgari, Zenith, Daniel Roth, Girard Perregaux, MB&F, and Breitling graced the event, with their presence enhanced by the event’s city-centric format and late date on the calendar. This opportunity also saw potential for smaller and emerging names to share the limelight. The event managed to set a new benchmark with 71 participating brands, who collectively revealed nearly 400 new creations to over 15,000 attendees, which included enthusiasts, private clients, international media, and content creators. While the attendance scaled down from last year’s 17,000, the vibrancy and novelty remained unaffected, or rather surpassed previous years, with announcements of significant developments from exhibiting brands. The more efficiently managed event was a commendable aspect, with its localised format and the provision for early appointments contributing to a streamlined visitor experience. The event bestowed an opportunity to closely view an array of bold timepieces, including the rich range of the Dennison Atelier featuring natural diamonds, the compelling new ART 02 from Alto, the three-coloured Chronomaster Solo Sport from Zenith, and the highly awaited M.A.D. 3. The event also marked the dramatic return of Gallet with a brand-themed Bronco appearance. Achieving a diverse mix of visitors, the event was adorned with personalities wielding remarkable timepieces like the Credor Locomotive and the Baltic x SpaceOne ‘Seconde Majeure’.
