Master Watchmaker Asaoka Unveils Limited 'Small Batch Release' Calendrier with Saxe Blue Dial

The world of horology is abuzz with Kurono Tokyo’s latest release, a stunning ‘Small Batch Release’ Calendrier sporting a distinct Saxe Blue dial. Under the aegis of esteemed Japanese master watchmaker Hajime Asaoka, the brand is celebrated for offering more accessible watches, intrinsically imbued with a potent Japanese spirit. As a case in point, the Tokyo Grand Jubilee Calendar, launched in 2025 to mark Asaoka’s 60th birthday, was an immediate sellout. Other exquisite elements include the lacquered and polished hour and minute hands, the stepped date window at 6 o’clock, and the wide chapter ring that features a smooth, contrasting surface. The watch is powered by a Miyota 9122 automatic movement, ensuring a precise and reliable timepiece.
