An initial answer came in 2001, with the release of the Manatee, Ikepod’s first rectangular-cased world-timer. This quartz-powered wristwatch demonstrated that the brand’s design could break free from its circular roots. Now, 25 years later, Ikepod revisits this question, delivering another revolutionary solution – The Minipod.

The Manatee carried forward this philosophy within a unique rectangular form-factor but kept Ikepod’s intrinsic features, such as rounded edges and the lugless, integrated strap design. The Minipod, a spiritual successor to the Manatee, retains a minimalist approach, focusing solely on hours and minutes. This simplicity underlines Ikepod’s quest to determine what critical design elements could transcend the circular tradition.

The Minipod’s harmony in design is accentuated with a stainless-steel case measuring 38.3mm x 33mm.
