Exploring the Enhanced Citizen Tsuyosa 60 Automatic: Now in a Compact, More Distinguished 37mm Size

Published: 15 Sep 2026
Citizen's Tsuyosa 60 Automatic, following its successful launch in 2022, is now available in a more versatile 37mm size, showcasing a dash of additional elegance.

Since its debut in 2022, the Japanese word for strength, the Citizen Tsuyosa, has stood out in the marketplace as a dynamic and cost-effective competitor, particularly in the value proposition segment. The watch, which was originally launched with a 40mm steel case, a 3-link steel bracelet, and an entry-level yet rugged movement, has undergone extensive refinement over the years. The Tsuyosa 60 Automatic is perhaps the most comprehensive evolution of this collection, featuring a more dignified dial, an enhanced movement, and a significant boost in endurance. With the release of its smaller 37mm editions, the watch offers even higher appeal.

Despite a small uptick in price, the Tsuyosa 60 burst onto the scene with numerous added features to justify the increase. It had more polished dials with texture, an improved jubilee-style bracelet, a superior movement, and an expanded power reserve. All of these enhancements have now been carried over to the Tsuyosa 37mm, a more compact unisex model.

Boasting a design inspired by luxury sports watches of the 1970s and 80s, the Tsuyosa 60 Automatic 37mm displays an impressive combination of brushed and polished surfaces, a barrel-shaped case with a raised bezel, a recessed crown positioned at 4 o’clock, and a sapphire crystal dial cover. The lug-to-lug measurement and the thickness of the case lend to its compact allure, while the 50m water resistance adds a touch of practicality. The dial, now more refined with an appealing stamped guilloché-like pattern, only amplifies the allure of this remarkable timepiece.
