Introduced in 2005, the Master Chronograph Moonphase has been part of the prestigious Master line-up, renowned for elegantly combining revered watch indications. A rejuvenation was anticipated and in 2026, it finally materialized. Committed to meeting the tastes of the discerning watch enthusiast, Longines introduced the watch with an optimised 41mm case diameter and a slightly reduced height of 13.80mm, a marked design poise from the prior 40mm and 42mm iterations. With two size options no longer available, the focus now is on a single, more wearable watch that boasts of a slightly slimmer profile. The case aesthetics align with the rest of the updated Master collection, featuring a largely polished exterior complimented by a brushed and polished bracelet for rich texture contrast. The dial, adorned with a silvery-white hue, underscores a distinct elegance mirrored across the entire Master collection. Longines revamped the dial’s barleycorn pattern to be more refined, and the previous minute flange with a date scale now pairs with a vertical edge along the entire dial’s perimeter.
