Tissot Expands PRX Collection with Addition of a Mother-of-Pearl Dial Variant on PRX 40mm Powermatic 80

Tissot’s PRX collection is renowned for its diversity, with options ranging from classic automatic to quartz models, and even various materials like titanium, damascuss steel, and carbon. Not to mention the assortment of colors, sizes, and limited editions. Now, Tissot enhances the collection further with a newly available white mother-of-pearl dial for the larger-sized PRX 40mm Powermatic 80 automatic watch

This new variant consists of an iridescent 40mm Mother-of-Pearl (MoP) dial, first introduced in the more compact 35mm model of the PRX. This eye-catching dial, blending a light tone with a distinctive waffle-like pattern, creates an appealing depth, demonstrating that the MoP is not exclusively for feminine watches.

The new variant particularly maintains the classic characteristic elements of the PRX collection, like the tapisserie effect and applied metallic markers and facetted hands with Super-LumiNova. The watch displays time-and-date neatly framed by a metallic element at 3 o’clock.

Under the hood, it features the Powermatic 80 automatic movement, an upgraded version of the reliable ETA 2824, providing an extended power reserve of 80 hours. Plus, it comes with a Nivachron antimagnetic hairspring for improved durability.

Tissot’s PRX 40mm Powermatic 80 with the new Mother-of-Pearl dial retails at EUR 825, a minor increase compared to the classic metal dial variant.
