Seiko Unveils Luxurious Prospex 1965 Heritage Diver HBC010: A Europe-Only Limited Edition Release

Published: 01 Aug 2026
Seiko’s Prospex line introduces a stunning new addition—the exclusive, European-only 1965 Heritage Diver HBC010. It pays homage to Seiko's horological heritage and adds a modern twist.

Famed for its extensive and impressive Prospex collection, the globally recognised Japanese watch manufacturer, Seiko, has presented watch enthusiasts with yet another magnificent creation that sings praises to its historical legacy—the Prospex 1965 Heritage Diver HBC010. This limited edition dive watch, exclusively designed for the European market, is an exquisite reinterpretation of the brand’s first-ever dive watch, the 62MAS, which debuted in 1965.

Following an update in 2024, the new Prospex 1965 Heritage Diver took the best elements of its predecessor and upgraded them, boasting improved mechanical features, fine-tuned dimensions, enhanced water-resistance, and a newly designed bracelet. This exemplary recreation is an alluring blend of the past and present, featuring a green-and-gilt colour scheme inspired by Austria’s breathtaking Lake Hallstatt, making it a unique and brilliant addition to the Prospex line.

The dial features a dark green tone with gold-coloured hour markers and hands, and cream-toned Lumibrite inserts, giving it a refined old-world charm. The watch retains the circular date window at 4:30 from its former iteration. Powering the timepiece is the automatic movement Calibre 6R55, with 24 jewels and a power reserve of 3 days. The watch comes fitted with a steel bracelet with an updated folding clasp and a diving extension system, allowing for a 15mm adjustment range. Additional comfort is provided with an included black silicone strap and its own pin buckle.

Only 1,400 pieces of this exquisite European-exclusive timepiece have been manufactured, each priced at EUR 1,650. This luxuriously limited edition reflects the brand’s continuous commitment to evolving its design while cherishing its rich history.
