Discover Minerva’s New Exquisite Limited-Edition Timepieces Featuring the Inverted Chronograph Calibre

Published: 29 Jul 2026
Break free from the shadows, the revered watchmaker Minerva presents its innovative 'Unveiled Secret' limited edition watches.

Earlier this year, the prestigious brand, Minerva, emerged from Montblanc’s shadow, celebrating its stand-alone rebrand with the release of two exclusive editions of the ‘Unveiled Secret’. These timepieces, presented in sleek 39mm cases and accented with sophisticated wine-red hues, are beautified with a new, inverted in-house monopusher chronograph calibre. The compact dimensions, ensuring higher wearability, have in no way compromised the viewer’s experience of the watch’s inner workings, exposed distinctly on the dial.

Famously recognized for crafting ’the most beautiful chronograph calibres in the world’, Minerva was established in 1858 in Villeret, propelling itself into the world of elite watchmaking with its first chronograph movement in 1908. Carrying this rich heritage forward, Montblanc launched the ‘Unveiled Secret’ in 2022, where the signature features of the movement are not hidden behind the case but precede the forefront of the design, visible on the dial side.

The two releases feature a two-tone stainless steel model with a rose gold bezel restricted to only 58 pieces, and a more luxurious edition made entirely of 18k rose gold, adorned with 84 brilliant-cut diamonds, limited to just 18 pieces. Both these variants encompass the signature fluting on the bezel, transitioning into the rose-gold onion-shaped crown, etched with the brand’s hallmark arrow. The comprehensive emphasis on design underlines Minerva’s statement of independence, marking a new chapter in its rich horological narrative.
