Atelier Pieters, a recently unveiled independent watch brand, has caused a stir in the timekeeping world with its debut product — the Atelier 1 Founders’ Series. The brand, founded by watchmakers Maarten and Jessica Pieters, offers fresh perspectives and exquisite craftsmanship.

Both Maarten and Jessica possess extensive experience in watchmaking. Maarten, originally from the Netherlands, moved to Switzerland in the mid-90s and participated in revolutionary projects including the Omega Central Tourbillon. Maarten dedicated fifteen years serving as the Director of WOSTEP, a reputable independent training center for the Swiss watch industry. On the other hand, Jessica hails from Australia, honed practical skills after graduating from WOSTEP and was the Manager of the training center’s Worldwide Partnership.
