Rolex Unveils Over 100 New References in the Iconic Datejust Collection in 2026

Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 proved to be a bumper year for Rolex, with the iconic brand revealing an exceptional range of new designs. Notably, the Rolex Datejust collection received a significant refresh, with well over 100 new references introduced. The collection included a bold 41mm model with a fluted bezel, Oyster bracelet and a new green ombré dial, but that was just the tip of the iceberg. Further additions saw a profound redesign of Datejust models with Roman numerals, and the debut of a special edition steel and gold Oyster Perpetual 100th Anniversary timepiece, presented in three sizes (41mm, 36mm, and 31mm). The much-debated high-end Rolesium and enamel Daytona also stole some spotlight, alongside the reimagined Yacht-Master II and an intriguing new gold alloy dubbed ‘Jubilee Gold’ for the Day-Date model. The green ombré dial, synonymous with the higher-end Day-Date model for many years, finally found its way into Rolex’s most classic watch – the Datejust. Originally, only a 41mm version in steel was publicly displayed. However, this fascinating green ombré dial is present on eight diverse references, varying between 36mm and 41mm, bundled with Oyster or Jubilee bracelet, and options of smooth or fluted bezel. Beyond the aesthetic changes, the Datejust’s internal mechanics remain consistent with the new 3235 movement introduced in 2016 and 2017. Rolex’s offerings for 2026 undeniably signify a noteworthy year for the esteemed brand, as they lead the luxury watchmaking industry into a new era of design and sophistication.
