RGM Watch Company is stepping out of tradition with its newest creation, The Model 151 Snoopy Flying Ace, offering a tasteful fusion of classic watchmaking and popular culture.

Renowned for holding steady in traditional watchmaking, American independent brand RGM Watch Company is taking a delightful pivot. The firm, rooted in Pennsylvania and established in 1992 by Roland G. Murphy, has recently launched a watch that tastefully converges the conventional craft of horology with elements of popular culture. The new Model 151 Snoopy Flying Ace timepiece is an intriguing blend of this esteemed watch brand’s classic repertoire and aviation-inspired charisma, featuring one of pop culture’s beloved characters, Snoopy.

The grand feu enamel variant exhibits a fantastic dual-layer white grand feu enamel dial. The enchanting artwork on the dial showcases Snoopy, complete with his flying goggles, seated atop his iconic red doghouse. The scene is completed by a smattering of carefree clouds. The playful theme does not deter from the watch’s functional legibility, thanks to large Arabic numerals and luminous sword hands.

For admirers seeking a more accessible alternative, RGM also provides a model with a matte light-blue metal dial. Despite lacking the layered complexity of enamel, it maintains the charming character of the design. Both models are powered by the reliable Sellita SW300-1 automatic movement, ensuring around 52 hours of power reserve. Final touches include decorative rhodium plating, Côtes de Genève, and perlage, before being fitted inside the case. The watch comes with a Hirsch Performance strap that blends leather with a rubber lining, providing both style and comfort. As for pricing, it starts at USD 3,950 for a steel model with a printed dial, reaching up to USD 9,950 for a titanium edition with a grand feu enamel dial.
