Meet the Compact yet Bold Update of the C by Romain Gauthier, Now Sweeping the Luxury Watch World

Renowned for his supreme hand-crafted movement decoration, independent watchmaker Romain Gauthier surprises the luxury sports watch terrain once again with the updated C Titanium Edition 39.5. This collection diverges strongly from the highly complex Logical One and Insight Micro-Rotor Squelette or the Prestige HMS, creating a broader appeal for the brand. Interestingly, while previous editions predominantly featured a 41mm case, Gauthier decided to create a new and more compact iteration with a 39.5mm titanium case. The only exemption was the recent Carbonium edition that boasted a larger 42mm cover.

At the core of this revamped watch is a shared in-house, hand-wound movement with larger versions of the C by Romain Gauthier. The layout is distinct with off-center hour-minute hands, slightly tapered hour markers of varying lengths, and offering a fascinating play of lights and reflections. The dial is available in three variants: pink, light blue, and orange. Indeed, Romain Gauthier’s new C collection iteration, the Titanium Edition 39.5, holds onto its unique character whilst embracing compactness and versatility, marking a new chapter in the watchmaker’s creative journey.
