Unveiling the Havid Nagan HN02: A New Spin on the Brand's Signature Cushion-Cased Style

Published: 30 Jun 2026
In the arena of independent watchmaking, Havid Nagan stands out for revisiting its distinctive cushion-cased silhouette in the form of the HN02 model.

Independent US watchmaker, Havid Nagan, has engineered a spectacular return to its distinct cushion-cased series with the HN02 model. A departure from the brand’s first round watch, the Classic One, the HN02 expertly fuses several aesthetic elements from the Classic One into its design, breathing new life into its near-square silhouette. These encompass the unique layered dial design and a grade 5 titanium case.

Further departure from prior models is apparent in the more traditional lugs introduced in the HN02 case, forging a more balanced feel during wear, especially on smaller wrists. The traditional case shape enhances the dial’s flamboyance and the compact sizing found in the Classic One remains, sporting a 38mm diameter and a thin 9-millimeter case height.

The HN02’s dial is notably intricate, featuring a wavy guilloché pattern that is hand engine-turned, then galvanized for colour and treated with a grand feu enameling process to add a touch of luxury. This contributes to the HN02’s substantial $18,000 price tag.

However, the dial isn’t the only thing the wearer can appreciate here. Turning the piece over reveals the manually-wound AMT6600 caliber, designed exclusively by Sellita’s AMT custom caliber department. This mechanical masterpiece website remains visible through the cutout at 3 o’clock position, giving a glimpse into the mechanical whimsy underneath the otherwise sophisticated, layered dial.
