Grand Seiko Enriches Evolution 9 Collection with Key Enhancements and New Variants
Grand Seiko has magnified the allure of its Evolution 9 collection with the introduction of nine fresh variations. Each of these models boasts not only the signature hallmarks of the Evolution 9 series but also a series of refined enhancements.
The most notable among these updates are the tapered bracelets and clasps with tool-free microadjustment. These features accommodate superior fit adjustments, especially during warmer months when wrist expansion occurs. Originating from the Evolution UFA SLGB003 model, this clasp design is extended across the collection in steel and titanium formats and cater to both 37mm and 40mm dimensions.
Among the five updated models with the new U.F.A caliber are the Spring Drive-powered White Birch and Atera Blue dials, both of which receive an aesthetic upgrade. The Atera Blue variant now uses Ever-Brilliant Steel instead of high-intensity titanium. Other dial updates include the Lake Suwa pattern, which is now a slightly lighter shade of dark blue, and a new black version of the Lake Suwa pattern presented in reference SLGB007.
In the meantime, Grand Seiko has revisited the Dual Impulse Escaepement-powered Caliber 9SA5 models. Though the Birch colored dials remain unchanged, the Birch versions are now also available in Ever-Brilliant Steel. Rounding up the non-limited models is the latest SLGH035 Genbi Valley, which showcases a striking scaled pattern combined with a light blue hue. All these models also come equipped with the new tapered bracelet and micro-adjust clasp.
