Underwater Explorers, Rejoice! Blancpain Expands it Fifty Fathoms Collection with the Innovative Fifty Fathoms Tech Ref. 5019A
Deep beneath the surface, time is an invaluable asset. Step by step, revelation by revelation under the colossal weight of the depths, divers rely on accurate devices to navigate the beauty and threats of the underwater realm. For diving professionals, underwater explorers, and closed-circuit rebreather divers, Blancpain expands its venerable Fifty Fathoms collection with the introduction of the Fifty Fathoms Tech Ref. 5019A.
This new professional-grade dive watch is the more universal version of the Fifty Fathoms Tech Gombessa which was unveiled in 2023. Accommodating the demands of extended underwater expeditions, this timepiece redefines and exceeds conventional boundaries set by traditional dive watches. Its distinctive patented three-hour diving bezel remains a monument to how Blancpain has harnessed the power of horology to serve the needs of divers.
Housed in a large case with a central lug construction of Grade 23 titanium, the watch is 47mm in diameter and 14.81mm thick, boasting water resistance up to 300m, perfectly equipped for saturation diving with a helium escape valve. The “Absolute Black” display ingeniously absorbs up to 97% of incoming light, making the reflection-free dial optimal for underwater visibility. To enhance legibility, Blancpain employs two luminous colours; blue-emission Super-LumiNova for diving indications, and green-emission Super-LumiNova for standard timekeeping indications.
Amidst the watch’s impressive features also resides the manufacture calibre 13P5A, operating at 28,800 vibrations/hour. This automatic movement holds an impressive power reserve of five days, thanks to a triple-barrel construction. To culminate this masterpiece, a date display has been integrated, making the Fifty Fathoms Tech Ref. 5019A not just tailored for underwater use, but versatile enough for everyday wear.
Blancpain’s innovative Fifty Fathoms Tech Ref. 5019A is more than just a watch. It’s a dive partner, a beacon in the depths, and ultimately a tool through which underwater explorers can boldly navigate the mysteries waiting beneath the surface.
