Formex Evokes a New Story with its Aria Manufacture Chronometer: Upmarket Style Meets Premium Functionality

Published: 04 Jun 2026
Craftsmanship takes flight with Formex's Aria Manufacture Chronometer, advancing the brand's reputation for high-quality and affordable timepieces.

Renowned for high-quality yet affordable timepieces, Formex brings horology to exciting heights with their latest offering - the Aria Manufacture Chronometer. A contemporary marvel of design melded with innovative functionality, this watch showcases Formex’s commitment to excellent craftsmanship and affordability.

Aria exhibits an impressive silhouette of a 40mm case crafted from grade 5 titanium. Adding to its aesthetic appeal is a contrasting finish with hand brushing of the titanium case and interconnected bracelet links. Rapidly assuming an identity of a sturdy sports watch, the Aria evades the conventional with subtle curvatures and spaces in each bracelet link providing an extra dimension to the design. An ingenious micro-adjust system for the clasp is another feather in Formex’s cap.

Housing the COSC-certified Caliber FX01 produced by Horage, the watch shatters standard norms. The CEO of Formex reveals that Aria’s thin design owes its grace to the tungsten microrotor inside. In terms of efficiency, about an hour of wear can yield a power of up to ten hours in the mainspring, totaling up to a whopping 72 hours power reserve.

The movement bridges, plated in galvanic black gold, are brushed and engraved by hand, relinquishing a textured look. The flexible geartrain pinion further adds to its appeal.

The total production run of Aria is capped at 100 pieces across all three dial colors. Priced at $7,900, the Formex Aria Manufacture Chronometer manufacturers’ edition blends affordability with high-end design, a testament to Formex’s commitment to affordability and exclusivity.
