Atelier Wen Continues to Redefine Chinese Craftsmanship with Perception V3 Collection

Published: 04 Jun 2026
Evolving the craft of watchmaking, Atelier Wen reveals the Perception V3—exhibiting a fresh movement and nuanced dial colour, a reflection of their relentless pursuit of excellence.

In the world of horology, Atelier Wen has been a name synonymous with innovation and craftsmanship. First making headlines in 2022, the brand established itself as a worthy contender for watchmaking powerhouses like Switzerland and Japan. The Perception collection played a key role in this, featuring a hand-turned guilloché dial and an eye-catching integrated bracelet design that seduced aficinados globally. However, not satisfied with resting on laurels, Atelier Wen sought constructive criticism, leading to the introduction of the Perception V2 a year later, outdoing its predecessor in both craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal.

Flash forward to the present day, Atelier Wen introduces the Perception V3, elevating the collection even further with a fresh dial colour, improved finishing, and a novel movement. Aligning with renowned French manufacture Pequignet for the new entrants’ movement, Atelier Wen now delivers even more excellence.

In a joint effort by the French movement manufacturer, Atelier Wen implemented traditional Chinese design into the movement itself, taking the decoration up a notch. Highly reflective blue aventurine lacquer embellishes each bridge, giving the illusion of a star-filled night sky, visually delighting the observer. Enhancements extend beyond this, evident in the execution of the escapement bridge decoration, ratchet return wheel inscription, and screw and rotor decorations. The enhanced details truly accentuate Atelier Wen’s commitment to perfection, making the Perception V3 an unmatched proposition in its price range.
