Stepping once again into the realm of Arthurian England, esteemed watchmaker Roger Dubuis adds another masterpiece to its famed Excalibur collection. Expected to drop in 2026, the Excalibur Lady of the Lake Sylvan Green watch imbues the fascinating Arthurian lore into a stunning ticker meant predominantly for the female audience. Its sister watch, the DBEX1193, boasts the same gold case but hosts a more subdued grey-toned dial.

Despite the somewhat tenuous link to King Arthur’s Lady in the Lake, this watch encapsulates the same enigma and beauty in its design. Its dial exhibits lighter green shades synonymous with the Sylvan Green hue, crafting an aesthetic that glorifies the scenic charm of green lake waters.

The key novelty of this timepiece lies in the 36mm case size – a first for the Excalibur collection. Previously, no smaller Excalibur case for women was in production, making this variant a significant step forward. However, it comes with only 30 meters of water resistance – a trait that puzzled many, considering that minor modifications could enhance this feature.

The Lady In The lake Sylvan Green watch embraces 18k rose gold as the case material, adding a layer of lustre to its overall appeal. More than 60 brilliant-cut diamonds adorn the bezel and lug structure, serving as a testament to its rich heritage. To allow the wearer to appreciate the horological prowess, the watch features a caseback with an exhibition window for the in-house automatic caliber RD830 mechanical movement. While the brand exhibits this model on a white alligator strap, most versions will sit on a rich green-coloured strap that complements the dial perfectly.
