The Intricacies of the Formex Aria Manufacture Chronometer: A Revolutionary Leap in the World of Luxurious Timepieces

Published: 29 May 2026
The Formex Aria Manufacture Chronometer redefines innovation and class, injecting a fresh aesthetic and exceptional functionalities into high-end horology.

Formex, owned by esteemed Swiss manufacturer Dexel, marks its territory in high-end horology with the Aria Manufacture Chronometer. Having previously sourced just the hands and movement from third-party suppliers, Formex now moves into a new era, defining a distinct visual and functional paradigm for its products. With the Formex Aria Manufacture Chronometer, the brand proudly touts its first-ever integrated-bracelet watch, powered by a COSC-certified micro-rotor movement developed in collaboration with Swiss firm Horage.

The latest addition to Formex’s portfolio deviates from the brand’s typical styling with its distinctly smooth, almost organic aesthetics, reminiscent of objects shaped by natural forces. The Aria possesses a unique biomorphic appeal, establishing a singular presence within the brand’s contemporary lineup. The watch’s fluid design lends it an exceptional wearability, aptly cushioned against the wrist.

The Aria’s elegant measurements encapsulate it into a visually engaging piece. With a case diameter measuring 40mm and a lug-to-lug length of 45.45mm, the Aria holds a surprisingly slim profile with a 6.9mm total height and offers decent water resistance of up to 100m. The watch boasts a flat sapphire crystal treated with anti-reflective coating on the interior, bordered by a fixed bezel further defines the watch’s sophistication.

Offering the choice of three diverse dials, each variant echoes the beauty of natural landscapes with their exceptional color palette: the verdant Selva Green, the muted Ardesia Grey, and the stormy Denso Blue. Beyond their various hues, each dial shares a fluid architectural structure that mirrors the Aria’s flowing case. The Formex Aria Manufacture Chronometer, with its confluence of new design and functionalities, sets the bar for future Formex creations, promising an evolving journey through the corridors of high-quality horology.
