Horologically Unique Presents the Finale Series: Imprinting the Patek Philippe Calatrava Legacy on Affordable Luxury Watches

Recasting the blueprint of a timeless dress watch with affordable price tags has always been the central idea behind Horologically Unique. The Singapore-based microbrand, known for its passion for watches, paved its way with this idea, resulting in the creation of the HU-01 Series. This series, reflecting the elegance of the Patek Philippe Calatrava 96, teems with a pair of compelling 36mm dress watches powered by classic Peseux.

The most striking evolution in the Finale Series is its revamped proportions. Originally encased in a 36mm frame, this series is now housed in an even more classic, 34mm diameter case, mirroring the original size of Ref. 96. Along with the shifting size, the small seconds sub-dial is closer to the edge, responding to feedback from first versions. The case design remains true to its primary influence with a classic 3-part structure with straight lugs and a stepped bezel. Depending on the model, the final design offers a brushed or polished finish and a closed caseback featuring perlage on the inside surfaces.

The Finale Series offers two versions, both accentuated with lab-grown diamonds to mimic the rare gem-set models of Calatrava 96. The combination includes three baguette-cut and eight round brilliant diamonds, a treat for lovers of vintage aesthetics and attainable luxury.
