Breathing new life into its distinct Cabaret model, A. Lange & Söhne presents the luxurious Cabaret Tourbillon Honeygold. Emerging initially in 1997 and flaunting clear Art Deco influence, the Cabaret stands uniquely apart from the brand’s primarily round-shaped range. This year sees the notable design’s upgrade, where Lange pairs the Cabaret with its signature Honeygold alloy and a black-rhodiumed dial, fostering an irresistible warm glow distinct from conventional golds.

The timepiece exhibits exceptional technical advancement showcased by the Cabaret Tourbillon, first unveiled in 2008. The groundbreaking design was the first wristwatch to introduce a stop-seconds mechanism for a tourbillon, facilitating precise time-setting. Although discontinued in 2013, it made a brief comeback in 2021 through the Cabaret Tourbillon Handwerkskunst, and the 2022 model seems even more captivating and warm compared to the platinum Handwerkskunst edition.

Preserving the heritage of the Cabaret design, the Tourbillon Honeygold case mirrors the original proportions, measuring 29.5mm by 39.2mm with a thickness of 10.3mm. The subtle architectural nuances of a curved profile, stepped bezel, and sculpted lugs add to its elegance.

Drawing remarkable attention is the dial, which retains its strikingly three-dimensional, highly structured appearance. Dial divisions with subscales and frames, contrasting with darker tones, are hand-sculpted from the Honeygold base. The piece de resistance, a 6 o’clock tourbillon aperture, is framed by black-polished components, delivering a stunning interplay of light reflections. Additionally, its calibre L042.1, comprising 370 components, perfectly fills the case with a shaped movement designed to fit its rectangular shape.
