Briston Unveils New Fun-to-Wear Clubmaster Legend Diver Ocean with Unique Designs

Briston, a French brand famed for accessible sports watches, unveils the new Clubmaster Legend Diver Ocean.

Briston, a French watch company, is renowned for its approachable sports watches marked by a distinctive casual feel. The new Clubmaster Legend Diver Ocean takes that same path, embodying the more relaxed aspect of the brand’s identity. The design of these watches is a mix of cellulose acetate cases, often used in sunglasses, coupled with vibrant, wave-textured dials and their flagship square-cushion Clubmaster style. Over the years, this design attribute has allowed Briston to carve out its niche in a market where vintage-inspired divers can sometimes feel redundant. The Clubmaster Legend collection already boasts an array of models, including the Diver and Compressor, the sleek Classic, the elegant Petite Seconde, and the skeletonised Classic Open.

Beyond looks, the new Clubmaster Legend Diver Ocean stays true to its diving design, featuring a 200m water resistance, a screw-down crown, and a sapphire bezel in navy blue with luminous markings. The case measures 40mm by 40mm, with a slight thickness over 13mm, maintaining a design that is clean and simple. Briston then punctuates the rest of the watch with a rich array of colours and details. The crown insert corresponds to the central seconds hand, while the light blue inner ring displays the 60-second scale. The semi-glossy wave-patterned dials utilise a laser-engraved texture, giving the surface more depth than a flat dial. The watch is tastefully completed with polished round hour markers filled with green Super-LumiNova C5, and large 6, 9, and 12 numerals utilising the BGW9 luminescence.
