Seiko Celebrates its Storied Tradition with New Presage 145th Anniversary Limited Edition Watches

Seiko unveils two unique Limited Edition timepieces as part of its Presage collection, honoured to its 145th anniversary celebrations.

Synonymous with unique craftsmanship and the artful integration of traditional Japanese craft into mechanical watchmaking, the esteemed Seiko Presage collection has seen its popularity skyrocket over the past decade. This year, Seiko commemorates its 145th anniversary and to celebrate this milestone, the brand has unveiled two new limited editions in the Presage Classic Series. Reflecting the brand’s long-standing prowess in seamlessly merging traditional craft and industrial watchmaking, these pieces are not only the epitome of horological delight but also bearers of distinct aesthetics.

Encased within a newly-designed stainless steel body measuring 39.6mm in diameter and 12.8mm in thickness, the HCC007 offers a refreshing take on contemporary watch styling, while maintaining Presage’s classic elegance. An addition to its function, the watch also carries an impressive water resistance capacity of up to 30m. At its heart is the automatic calibre 6R51, offering a splendid power reserve of 72 hours. The watch is a limited edition of 1,500 pieces, each priced at EUR 1,800. Creating a unique blend of time-keeping and artistry, this delightful timepiece is a testament to Seiko’s 145 years of horological excellence.
