Jaeger-LeCoultre Quietly Unveils The Striking Reverso Tribute Monoface 'Or Deco Cocktail'

Just when wristwatch enthusiasts thought they'd seen the best of Jaeger-LeCoultre, the brand has subtly introduced three captivating new additions.

Last year, Jaeger-LeCoultre headed into relatively uncharted terrains by launching the new Reverso Tribute Monoface ‘Or Deco’ in pink gold with a striking Milanese mesh bracelet. However, it was somewhat overshadowed by the brand’s newer collections and didn’t get its deserved spotlight. However, the innovative brand has fired another shot, subtly introducing three new captivating renditions of the Reverso Tribute Monoface ‘Or Deco Cocktail’ watches that stunned the horological aficionados. This showcase is believed to be a precursor to a complete announcement of these additions to its celebrated ‘Reverso Stories’ series—scheduled between May 21 to May 31 in the Miami Design District, ahead of the opening of a new boutique. The renewed focus is said to be on rare pieces, high-jewelry models with a historic cachet, and other similar Reverso pieces that complement the concept.
The models that specifically caught the eyes of many were the two new versions crafted in resplendent white gold. These watches retained the familiar 45.6 x 27.4 x 7.56mm case dimensions and hosted the manually wound Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 822 movement. These versions boasted a stunning silver-toned grained dial with hours, minutes, and seconds indicated via silver-toned hands and indices. However, their defining feature was the unconventional way they deviated from the original model designs, showcasing either 46 baguette-cut emeralds (approximately 0.95 ct), or blue sapphires (approximately 1.36 ct). They were accompanied by an updated version within a rose gold body, where the same number of rubies and the weight of the sapphires were maintained. All these models maintained a 42-hour power reserve.
Likely successful celebrity endorsements started from the Met Gala event, where actors Tyriq Withers and Finn Wolfhard were seen wearing the two new white-gold models.
