Naoya Hida & Co. Reveals Stunning Floating Feathers Watch in Third Collaboration with The Armoury
Naoya Hida & Co., the prestigious Japanese watch brand known for its limited production capacity and refined discretion, takes the horological world by storm with the release of its latest range of models for 2026/2027. The lineup includes ten new watches, featuring seven distinctive references, an exquisite chronograph, compact Calatrava-styled watch, and porcelain dial. Yet, the highlight of the collection is the stunning Floating Feathers watch, developed in collaboration with The Armoury, the menswear brand established in 2010 by Mark Cho and Alan See.
Among the impressive growing names in Japanese watchmaking, Naoya Hida & Co., founded in 2012, combines the spirit of ultra-classic watches with vintage Calatrava inspirations. The marriage of the brand’s aesthetic sophistication with The Armoury’s artistic flair resulted in the Floating Feathers Reference Type 4A-2, an artistic masterpiece in watch-making.
The Floating Feathers watch wears an angled inner flange, sporting 12 hand-polished, 18k yellow gold spherical minute markers. The pointedly faceted hands not only enhance the vintage cues but also augment the timepiece’s overall sophistication. Encased in a 36mm 904L steel case, the Floating Feathers watch attains a blend of elegance and retro-styled design, subtly playing homage to the bygone era of classic horology. Its box-shaped sapphire crystal and screwed caseback only intensify the vintage allure.
