Exploring the Pastel-Coloured Luxury of TAG Heuer's New Extension of its Iconic Formula 1 Collection

Published: 28 Apr 2026
TAG Heuer impresses once again with the extension of its Formula 1 collection—pastel tones bring a fresh take to these luxurious new models.

Just a week post Watches & Wonders 2026, TAG Heuer unveiled an expansion to its well-received Formula 1 series. Introducing five new pastel models, the latest offerings elegantly embody the brand’s luxury ethos whilst adding a pop of colour to this timeless line. The price may reflect the prestigious TAG Heuer name, but buyers are also paying for an updated interpretation of the original 1980s models. As the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Solargraph 38mm Pastel Collection shows, even entry-level can be synonymous with sophistication.

The new collection diverges from the legacy 36mm quartz movement models, instead adopting a larger 38mm blueprint and replacing the battery-powered quartz calibers with light-powered movements from La Joux-Perret. This innovation maintains the chameleon nature of the ‘80s models, while ensuring the watches don’t seem too petite for modern tastes.

The collection comprises three models with TH-Polylight cases, two in stainless steel, and all are part of limited-edition offerings. The TH-Polylight pieces include yellow, blue and pink versions, each adorning a rubber strap in the same hue. The stainless steel models, available in green and purple, come with matching steel bracelets—a unique touch that adds an element of luxury to these casually aesthetic timepieces.

Powering these models is TAG Heuer’s Caliber TH50-00 solar quartz movement, produced by the primarily Japanese-owned Swiss company La Joux-Perret. The sophisticated movement is another testament to TAG Heuer’s quest for precision, making the Formula 1 Solargraph 38mm Pastel Collection a perfect blend of top-tier reliability, refined craftsmanship, and contemporary design.
