Venezianico’s Arsenale Calendario: A Perfect Blend of Historic Inspiration and Contemporary Elegance

Published: 27 Apr 2026
Revel in the elegance and craftsmanship of Venezianico's latest creation - the charmingly distinctive Arsenale Calendario watch.

Founded in 2017, Venezianico, an Italian brand, has distinguished itself by crafting stylish and reasonably priced watches, creatively blending different materials and designs. Taking inspiration from the iconic Venetian architecture to the patterns depicting the city’s enchanting lagoon tides, Venezianico keeps character at the core of its creations.

Their Arsenale line, paying homage to the historic Arsenale di Venezia, beautifully resonates with this ethos, offering integrated designs paired with bold dials that give off an alluring mix of deep fumé tones and textured finishes. The new Arsenale Calendario is no departure from this unique combination. The watch brings together a slew of features— a complete calendar, a power reserve, and a day and night display, all ensconced within the same integrated steel case.

Notable features consist of an engraved illustration of the Venice Arsenale on the case back. The mid-case features a broad, polished bevel and a sloping bezel highlighted by a raised, double-domed sapphire crystal. A gently knurled pattern on the bezel, repeated on the case back, and a practical month adjustment pusher at 2 o’clock finish off the watch’s remarkable exterior design.

Combining clear indications with good contrast against the steel case, the dial facilitates easy reading. Refined details include polished baton markers and skeletonized dauphine hands that spotlight the dial’s rich shades. Despite the multiplicity of features, the layout ensures clarity, cleverly positioning the day and month, as well as the power reserve, in a compact space without making the dial look crowded.
