Published: 24 Apr 2026
Union Glashütte reaffirms its reputation in the realm of robustly crafted, improved-priced chronographs with its latest creation - the Belisar Chronograph Sport.

Union Glashütte continues to conquer the market of sturdy and modestly priced mechanical chronographs with the latest addition to its portfolio; the Belisar Chronograph Sport. Introduced in 2024, this watch represents a modern alternative within the Belisar line-up, marking a significant departure from traditional aesthetics and embracing contemporary features. The newest evolution of the Belisar Chronograph Sport enhances its presence and versatility with a stainless steel bracelet.

Dial presentation displays sophistication and sportiness in equal measure. The black dial with horizontal embossed grooves, houses a tri-compax setup with a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6, and a small seconds counter at 9. Yellow-tipped hands add a pop of colour and additional sporty contrast. The indices and skeletonised hands filled with Super-LumiNova ensure a clear reading. This watch houses an automatic chronograph movement based on the Valjoux 7750 architecture, equipped with a silicon balance spring for improved resistance to magnetism. In terms of power reserve, it lasts a minimum of 65 hours.

The updated design features a three-link stainless steel bracelet that slightly changes the watch’s aesthetic. It seamlessly integrates with the case and enhances the watch’s overall coherence with alternating polished and brushed surfaces giving it a versatile yet stylish appeal.
