Swiss Victorinox Unveils Concept One: A Revolutionary Blend of Aesthetics, Practicality and Sustainability

Published: 23 Apr 2026
Swiss Victorinox, renowned for Swiss Army knives, introduces the Victorinox Concept One series, a versatile blend of traditional automatic and solar-driven quartz watches.

In a refreshing leap towards blending luxury with practicality, Swiss Victorinox, globally acclaimed for its Swiss Army knives, is set to bolster its watch collection with the introduction of a new series, the Victorinox Concept One. Showcasing a 39mm wide design reminiscent of the classic, ever-popular Victorinox Inox collection, the Concept One series is an innovative rendition featuring more compact, practical models that are more oriented towards daily lifestyle needs without compromising the brand’s signature durable performance.

The Victorinox Concept One Solar comes equipped with the Swiss-made Ronda 215 quartz movement, uniquely designed to harness energy from both sunlight and ambient indoor light. When fully charged, the watch guarantees battery longevity of around eight months, making it a perfect companion for modern, busy lifestyles. For the purists, the Concept One Automatic edition, powered by the Swiss-made La Joux-Perret G100 automatic movement, is sure to impress with its powerful 68-hour power reserve and intricate Swiss Army Knife motif displayed through its transparent sapphire crystal caseback.

Victorinox has artfully maintained uniformity across both models, offering similar dial colors and strap/bracelet options irrespective of the movement type. An intriguing point to note is Victorinox’s selection of the La Joux-Perret, as the Swiss company also manufactures solar quartz movements, indicating a strategic decision on Victorinox’s part to distinguish between its automatic and solar models, possibly to provide an unambiguous choice to the consumer. The launch of the Victorinox Concept One series reflects the evolution of watch craftsmanship, where practicality, aesthetics, and sustainability shape the timepieces of tomorrow.
