IWC unveils five new compelling entries to its Ingenieur collection, showcasing impeccable watch-making expertise and design innovation at an event in Geneva. Since the Ingenieur’s evolution in 2023, it has grown to encompass a variety of materials and complexity across various sizes, exemplifying the enduring design originally introduced by renowned architect Gerald Genta’s SL reference 1832 in 1976 - a design proudly celebrating its 50th anniversary.

The Ingenieur collection’s expansion over the years reflects the sturdy foundation laid by Genta’s formidable design. Additionally, this isn’t IWC’s maiden attempt to re-envision Genta’s 1976 blueprint. The brand had introduced the bold 3239 Ingenieur in 2013, marking a significant phase in its journey, which embraced the design ethos of the 1950s while later transitioning into a sophisticated rendition of Genta’s integrated bracelet design.

The Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar 41 IW344904, a titanium version, showcases a monochromatic scheme with a perpetual calendar caliber 82600 under the hood. The titanium variant weighs less while keeping the ingenious design intact. Its remarkable feature is its crown through which all adjustments can be made. This lightweight version marks IWC’s lightest perpetual calendar to date, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to endless innovation.
