Breitling Elevates Its Renowned Chronomat Collection with a Modern Revamp

Breitling has once again demonstrated its mastery in crafting captivating timepieces by rejuvenating its esteemed Chronomat lineup. This refresh builds on the comprehensive 2020 renovation and brings further enhancement to the collection which features 22 variants, including time-and-date models and chronographs.

A trilogy of models leads the new wave of timepieces: the Chronomat B01 42 chronograph, the Chronomat Automatic B31 40, and the Chronomat Automatic 36. The Chronomat B01 comes in distinctive white, blue, or green dial colours with contrasting black subdials enlisted in a steel case. A luxuriant red gold variant features a brown dial and another tantalising design arrives with an ice blue dial framed in a steel case and platinum bezel.

More variety awaits with the Chronomat Automatic 36. Options for a blue dial, white mother-of-pearl, grey mother-of-pearl dials or the elaborate editions set with lab-grown diamonds adds diverse choices in this refreshing line-up.

Building upon its legacy, Breitling’s latest modification involves an intricate integration of the bracelet into the case and lugs, a departure from the previous generation’s design. The 2026 Chronomat case displays a transition from traditional lugs to a shrouded-lug design, effectively connecting the bracelet in a visually pleasing and seamless approach. It not only brings a tonneau-shaped form to the case but also improves the watch’s ergonomics significantly, reducing thickness across all models.
