The name Angelus, brought back by La Joux-Perret some years ago, now homes two distinct sub-collections. The new Flying Tourbillon Titanium Blue lies in the latter category, adopting a similar modern design ethos. Notched bezel, a sizable crown with pointed guards and an assertive presence characterise this timepiece. The 42.5mm case is of a fairly practical thickness, 11.45mm.

As if the movement wasn’t impressive enough, the watch waxes lyrical with its design language. A carbon composite container protects the movement, surrounded by a titanium case middle composed of six main elements. Slight disappointment registers at the 30m water resistance, a downplay considering the robustness and assertiveness of the sporty facade.
