Taking its place at the pinnacle of Casio's collection, the G-Shock MR-G MRG-B2100R-2A blends supreme technicality with traditional Japanese aesthetics.

Casio, a name synonymous with unmatched timekeeping precision, unveils its foremost offering for 2025, the G-Shock MR-G MRG-B2100R-2A watch. This luxury timepiece upgrades the features of the brand’s iconic octagonal 2100 series, infusing it with an intriguing blend of contemporary horology and traditional Japanese aesthetic. The MRG-B2100R-2A’s greatest transformation is its striking blue dial, reminiscent of ao-zumi ink-wash paintings and calligraphy, and its softer rubber strap that takes the place of its predecessor’s metal bracelet.

The MRG-B2100R-2A retains the intricate design of the 2100 series with its 27-component full-metal case, protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The case blends Ti64 titanium and COBARION, a proprietary alloy with the lustrous shine of platinum. A touch of blue PVD on segments of the case and the 200 meters water resistance further enhance its charm.

Adding to the unique charm is a black Dura Soft strap made from fluoro-rubber with titanium components. The watch weighs in at a relatively light 110 grams, only evident in its tangible presence on the wrist. As part of Casio’s range, the MRG-B2100R-2A commands a price synonymous with Swiss luxury brands’ entry-level mechanical models, reasserting the brand’s stance as a luxury watch contender.
