The Chic Louis Erard Le Régulateur Gravé Bleu: A Mastery of Traditional Artistry and Modern Aesthetics

Published: 24 Feb 2025
With a tasteful blend of classic regulator layout and sector dial design, Louis Erard introduces the all-new Le Régulateur Gravé Bleu timepiece.

Celebrating the artistry of tradition, Louis Erard has discerningly blended the classical regulator display with a sector dial design in the launch of its new Le Régulateur Gravé Bleu. This sleek timepiece follows just four months after the unveiling of the reputable Régulateur Gravé that captivated with its black dial.

Now, the brand brings another stunner to its permanent collection, dripping in irresistible blue hues. This newly released watch is part of the acclaimed Noirmont Métiers d’Art sub-family, speaking volumes of Louis Erard’s innovative explorations with dial design.

The structure of the Régulateur’s display puts minutes in the limelight, highlighted on the periphery. In contrast, the hours and seconds are neatly tucked away in two separate sub-dials, located at noon and 6 o’clock respectively. The unique organisation of the display accentuates the technical splendour and the sector dial’s classic simplicity.

Housed within a polished stainless steel case with a diameter of 39mm, a thickness of 12.82mm, a 45.9mm lug-to-lug and a depth rating of 50 metres, this timepiece is both stylish and practical. The domed sapphire crystal and display caseback reveal the Sellita SW266-1 élaboré-grade automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve and a bespoke rotor.

Adorned with a light grey calfskin strap and polished steel pin buckle, the watch retails at CHF 2,900 (exclusive of tax). Expressive of Louis Erard’s pristine craftsmanship, the Le Régulateur Gravé Bleu is a symbol of excellence, design savvy and time-keeping sophistication.
