Furlan Marri's Renowned Mechaquartz Chronograph Series Returns with a Majestic Meteorite Dial
Furlan Marri, renowned for their distinctive timepieces, recently announced the return of their acclaimed Mechaquartz Chronograph series, this time with an extraordinary twist. As a way to mark the brand’s 5th anniversary, the watchmaker has incorporated part of the ancient Muonionalusta meteorite into the watch design, creating an unforgettable dial that celebrates a massive cosmic event over 4.5 billion years ago. The rarity and unusual composition of the Muonionalusta, the world’s first and only known iron meteorite with stishovite, adds an unprecedented value to the watch. The meteorite fragments are artfully mounted onto the watches, not ground up and etched like many other brands tend to do, resulting in a truly unique and visually stunning dial.
Always standing out in Furlan Marri’s collections are their dials. The use of meteorite in this edition brings a whole new level of sophistication and detail to their products. Among the new features introduced are a sandwich construction of the dial, a pulse measuring scale, and raised, applied stainless-steel Roman numerals.
The Meteorite Octa is not part of Furlan Marri’s permanent collection, but is available on order from April 10 to April 20, 2026. The watch is priced at CHF 720, offering a perfect blend of luxury and affordability to watch enthusiasts.
