Credor Reveals Elegant Dawn Blue Locomotive GCCR995, Adding a Fresh Take to Their Renowned Series

Credor adds to its standout Locomotive series with the GCCR995, debuting an alluring 'dawn blue' dial variant with time-tested Genta design elements.

Credor, the luxurious branch of Seiko Watch Corporation, has announced a new timepiece bearing a distinct ‘dawn blue’ dial. The introduction of the new Locomotive GCCR995 maintains the brand’s dedication to the ethos of high-end horology, standing as an evolution to the earlier green-dial version, the GCCR997.

The Locomotive series boasts an unparalleled pedigree, tracing its roots back to the original 1978 sketch from legendary designer Gerald Genta: a mastermind also behind iconic models such as the Royal Oak, Nautilus, and Ingenieur. His friendship with Seiko’s Reijiro Hattori culminated in the creation of the distinguished Locomotive, which enjoyed its first debut in 1979.

Inheriting traits from its predecessors, the latest edition, GCCR995, carries the legacy forward with a minimalist dial change whilst retaining other well-appreciated characteristics. The watch showcases a 38.8mm high-intensity titanium casing with 100-meter water resistance, contemporary hexagonal crown, and a sapphire-protected dial.

The bracelet, made of high-intensity titanium, adheres to the watch’s design principles, sporting a three-fold clasp with a push-button release accompanied by hexagonal mid-links that echo the overall geometric theme.
