Longines Unveils Reimagined Hydroconquest Watch Series: A Modern Era Transformation

Longines, a brand recognised for its continued mastery in the horological world, reaffirms its status with the unveiling of the fully reimagined Hydroconquest series. Following a robust history of respected vintage designs and fan-favourites, Longines showcases how past accomplishments are merely stepping stones for future innovation with the new Hydroconquest models.

Originally launched in 2007, the Hydroconquest series has received an extensive makeover for the modern era. The new-generation Hydroconquest range features a blend of notable modern diver detailing, material enhancements, and sizing options. This transformation positions the Hydroconquest series as a potentially dominant contender in its price segment.

Characterised by a bolder, more refined design than its predecessors, the Hydroconquest’s stainless steel case is available in either 39mm or 42mm diameters. The watch design reflects athletic and angular aesthetics, with a sharper overall shape and clean, restrained lines.

Witnessing radical change, the Hydroconquest dials adopt a cleaner, more traditional appearance. The massive Arabic numerals have been replaced with a more conventional set of applied dive indices. However, the brand’s unique touch persists with the addition of round indices at 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock.
