TAOS's Exciting New Horological Showpieces: The Dazzling 'Génèse' and Dreamlike 'Odonata'

Having its roots in Geneva since 2024, TAOS is aligned with the grand tradition of Swiss watchmaking. Esteemed artist and craftsperson Olivier Vaucher led the formation of TAOS in an atelier boasting around 40 highly skilled artisans. This team underpins some of the most distinguished names in watchmaking, wholeheartedly embracing its remarkable artistic legacy.

With anticipation building around Watches and Wonders, TAOS has introduced two artistic masterpieces - ‘Génèse’ and ‘Odonata’. These watches are more than mere objects of time-telling; rather, they serve as unique conduits for exploring and celebrating the natural world via distinct artistic methodologies.

‘Odonata’, on the other hand, transports us to a dreamy domain where the boundaries between flora and fauna are sublimely blurred. Its striking design is one of the most complex creations to come out of Vaucher’s atelier. High-relief engraving, paillonné enamel, mother-of-pearl marquetry, and plique-à-jour techniques all converge to give ‘Odonata’ a dynamic and other-worldly aesthetic. Paired with a 38mm white gold case featuring diamond-set lugs and bezel, ‘Odonata’ is as much a piece of wearable art as it is a time-telling device.
